Game 3

Posted on: April 28, 2008 10:03 pm

Guts and luck. To outshoo the way they were and still hang in for the win is amazing. The last two games had rewrite of Game 1 all over them as the Habs suge late. If the Flyers pull off the next one in Philly, they are going to play for the Cup.

Does our almost 30 year drought for a champ in city end here?

About Philly
Great to see a resurgage of sorts in sports in the city. The 6ers out of no where are going to the playoff. I ask my friends in Baltimore to name a player on the team and they can't. Great testiment to Mo and job he has done this year. Staying with hoops, it looked as if no Big 5 teams where going to dance this year. Three went, when Temple pulled off the A-10 championsip againgst St Joe, and the strongest of the three might have been tha last one in Nova. Why Fran left Penn , I have no clue. Penn replaces him with with a coach with under a .500 record at Brown. Who made that move? my, hoe both Priceton and Penn have declined over the past few years. The Flyers are also back! facing a cap team that has been absent a tad longer, five years. I look for the big O to carry the Caps, and I am not talking about Olllie the Goalie. He is the best player in the league right now, sorry to all of the Sidny fans in Pitt. The Phild still need a pitcher and since they were so cheap ( as usual) and let polanco walk for that pwer hitting third basemen Bell , they have hole there also. Powand walking also leaves a big void. Can;t see then duplicating last year, when the power hitter on the team is trying for 200 Ks a year. We shall wait and see what goes down, but what a pleasure to see all three teans viable at the same time. PS~~~~last thought of the night, Temple will go bowling and Gordon will wind up trying to clean up the once proud program at PSU.
